AI browser with a built-in assistant that reads, summarizes and acts across open tabs.

What it is good at

The assistant works on whatever the student already has open, supporting research in context rather than requiring a separate chat window and copy-paste. Comparison and synthesis across multiple open sources is genuinely faster than reading tab by tab. Free worldwide, which removes any adoption barrier.

Use it for

Opening three competitor sites plus an SEC filing, having Comet build a comparison table, then verifying every figure against the primary filing and marking what the AI got wrong. Researching a target market across several industry sources and tracing each claim in the summary back to its originating page. Summarizing a long annual report, then spot-checking the numbers against the financial statements.

Where it falls short

Agentic browsing introduces real security exposure — AI browsers that act on page content are susceptible to prompt-injection attacks embedded in websites, so students should never run it while logged into sensitive accounts, and that should be taught explicitly. It still hallucinates and can misattribute a claim to the wrong open source, which is especially deceptive because the wrong source looks authoritative and adjacent. Feature availability shifts between tiers with little notice.
